Funeral Costs for a service at place of worship and committal service at the local crematorium

A service in a place of worship or other location preceded or followed by a committal (shorter) service at the Crematorium. Location, time and date of your choice.

Funeral Director Professional Fee for a Service and separate Committal at the crematorium includes

  • Good care of the deceased
  • Support and attendance by a funeral director at anytime
  • Arranging and conducting the funeral
  • Full clear advice on the different options available
  • Use of our funeral home and chapel of rest facilities
  • Attending to all necessary documentation
  • Help and advice on registering the death including booking appointments and arranging transport
  • Liaising with the appropriate authorities for arranging the timings and details of the funeral
  • Wording and placing notices in local or national newspaper
  • Creation of online obituary and memorial page with funeral zone
  • Provision of a pack of documentation including full written estimate
  • All necessary telephone and postage charges

This eases the arrival of the family and reduces the wait sometimes associated when seating a large congregation

  • Enlargement of photos to A3 of A4 size for display at the service
  • Ordering and receiving of floral tributes
  • Use of a wheelchair, various flags and medal cushions

  • Distribution of flowers following the funeral
  • Collection of the cremated remains, temporary storage and delivery to a local address
  • Attendance at the cremated remains interment or scattering if required
  • Wording and placement of acknowledgement notice and organising of printing of acknowledgment cards

The third party costs vary hugely dependent on the location of your service, the example we have given is for a Church of England standard funeral service. Please telephone for a more precise quotation based on your exact requirements.

Other locations such as hotels can be arranged, again this would be a price on application.

There is no charge for the use of any of our funeral homes for a service.
