Crematorium Funeral Costs

Costing for a full funeral service at the local Crematorium

T.W. Birks will organise a fully customisable funeral where the service and committal take place at the crematorium at a date and time that suits you.

The costs are divided into our professional fee and the third party fees we pay out on your behalf.


Our Funeral Director Professional Fee for a Full Service at the local crematorium includes:

  • Good care of the deceased in our chapel of rest
  • Support and attendance by a funeral director at anytime
  • Arranging and conducting of the funeral
  • Full clear advice on the different funeral options available
  • Use of our funeral home and chapel of rest facilities as required
  • Attending to all necessary documentation required for the funeral
  • Help and advice on registering the death including booking appointments and arranging complimentary transport
  • Liaising with the appropriate authorities for arranging the timings and details of the funeral
  • Wording and placing notices in local or national newspaper
  • Online obituary and memorial page with funeral zone
  • Provision of a pack of helpful documentation including a full written estimate
  • All necessary telephone and postage charges
  • Distribution of attendance cards at the funeral for mourners to complete
  • Receiving and handling of floral tributes
  • Use of a wheelchair, various flags and medal cushions
  • Downloading and compilation of music for the funeral
  • Receiving, handling, acknowledging and forwarding of charitable donations
  • Distribution of flowers following the funeral
  • Collection of the cremated remains, temporary storage and delivery to a local address
  • Attendance and organisation of the interment or scattering of cremated remains, where required.
